“5 Stone Down…“
“I joined Super Fast Fitness in late 2009 after putting on 5 stone within a year of my marriage.
I had always struggled with my weight but usually yo yo’d back and forth from being a normal size to about 2 stone over weight. I tried all the usual diets including weight watchers and was a member of many gyms round Dublin. This time, after losing the usual couple of stone for my wedding, it went back on very quickly with another 3 just for good measure! I needed to buy an entire new wardrobe reaching a size 24.
The turning point came when I met with friends of my husbands who I had not seen since the wedding and one of them walked straight by me and up to my husband asking where I was. I was mortified when he didnt recognise me and felt a bit sorry for him in front of his friends because he was so embarrassed!!
A friend of mine had joined SF Fitness Camps earlier in the year and suggested I come with her to the next one.
Initially I didn’t think I would be able to do any of the exercises and was nervous about my size compared to other people but I soon found that you can go at your own pace and everyone is so welcoming and full of encouragement.
I have now lost just over 5 stone and feel great. Before I found getting in and out of the car very hard and as I am a caterer I found just the simple size of me and lack of fitness made my job twice as hard. Even small jobs took me twice as long. We have two dogs and I would always give out to my husband for power walking when we were out with them, now I see he was just walking normally. They are basset hounds so not exactly the speediest of dogs!
I still have a bit more to go but I know I will get there as its now 2 years since I joined and no weight has gone back on. I also have a much healthier attitude towards food, no more crazy diets or starving myself and have found my sleep is much better too.”

“Lost 4 dress sizes…”
In 6 months of camp I’ve dropped 4 dress sizes, lost 35 pounds and 27 inches all thanks to SuperFastFitness!!!
6 months ago I was overweight, uncomfortable and pretty unhappy. I had absolutely no energy, no desire to do anything, everything was an effort, getting up in the morning was the worst! I literally rolled out of bed, threw on clothes and left for work. But now….. I’ve never known myself to have such energy and feel happy for no reason in particular! Over the years I have known I’ve needed to lose weight and have tried to on several occasions – I’ve tried Weight Watchers (don’t ask me how many times I’ve joined!), Rosemary Connolly diet books and Curves. I spent a fortune joining these things, buying the products and books! With all of them I got bored and would give up after only losing a couple of pounds or actually putting on weight! So when I saw the ad for bootcamp on my friend’s facebook I just thought I’d give it a go, I didn’t know too much about it so I went in with an open mind. I did think ah sure it’ll just be another thing I try…little did I know back then how big an impact it would have on me!
What has kept me signing up month after month? Sheer determination to get to my goal and be the fittest and healthiest person I can be and the support I get from John whenever I need it, he’s always on hand to answer any sort of questions, and trust me I come up with some pretty random ones! My fellow campers have been amazing at pushing me, if I see one of them lifting a heavier weight or pushing themselves harder, I’m always thinking well if they can do it I’ve got to at least try!! I honestly don’t think I’d have got this far without SFFitness and my bootcamp buddies!
If you’re reading this and wondering is this for me? Can I do it? Will I be able for it? The answer is YES. I was in no way fit when I nervously walked up to camp on my first night but it didn’t matter I was still able to all the exercises and walked away thinking yeah I can do this. If you’re reading this and want something different to help you change the way you are and feel better, than all you have to do is come and try it out and I’ve no doubt you’ll end up like me signing up month after month. It is addictive! I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending SuperFastFitness to everyone and anyone

“Not just a bootcamp…“

Before I joined SuperFast Fitness Camps I was like a lost puppy; I had no drive, I didn’t care about life, I was depressed, I binge drank, ate all the wrong things and my weight drove me crazy. I was always a very self-conscious person even when I had no weight to loose but I just couldn’t believe I had let myself fall so hard and gained so much weight, I had lost me. I finished college for the summer and decided to take action so I signed up for camp. After my first session, I knew things were about to change once I let go of old habits and committed, which I struggled to do at the start. It wasn’t till 2 months in, I realised I had to stop my old habits if I wanted my results and from then on I never looked back.
Once I worked with all elements, trained consistently each week and ate the correct foods I dropped a stone in 2 weeks!! I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. That was one of the happiest days I had had in a long time. From then on camp was so apart of my life, there was no such thing as not going to camp even if it was stormy, raining or snowing because nothing can compare to that feeling after a session, it’s addictive and I love camp. I love it because I feel like me again, I couldn’t be happier; I mean it now when I say it.
And then there is the vibe and atmosphere of camp, it’s amazing. You could nearly say we are all like a family; we all inspire each other, help when needed and challenge each other because we know we can do it with that little push.
To me it’s not just a bootcamp it’s a way of life, I have learned so much more than just how to eat right and to train properly,there has been so much I have learned to apply to my life. The key one for me was attitude. It really changed who I was as a person and with my college work too.This has been the best and most life changing experiences in my life and I wouldn’t change any of it. I will always come back because it has helped me so much but really I just love it, the sessions, the challenges, and the people. I now have” me” back who is a lot stronger as a person; I have a passion and drive for life and know I can achieve anything I want while been healthier and happier.”

“No other approach to fitness and health like it…“

Originally, camp gave me the results I desired….I lost weight and basically, I got smaller! I still attend camps, 7 months after starting in November 2010 because I continue to get closer to the body I want, but also because of all the other benefits camp provides. I love the way camps make me feel. They make me feel healthy, strong and happy ![]()
The nutrition plan coupled with the exercise is fantastic! I’m never hungry and I look forward to camp 4 times a week.
My family and friends think I’m nuts for travelling across the city to attend camp but I do it because there is no other camp like it, no other approach to fitness and health like it!
I’ve done years and years of gyms, other bootcamps and playing sports but NEVER got the results that SuperFast Fitness Camps has given me. It is the best there is out there. And even months later I am still challenged in every session. My techniques have improved but the sessions are so varied there’s always a challenge. So it never gets easy, meaning we all continue to get results, no matter what our fitness level.
John is very supportive and is a great motivator, and the other camp members are always really welcoming and really positive. We’re like a proper team!
The best advice I’ve heard from John is to start!! Simple but effective. Don’t leave it until Monday to begin changing your approach, start now! But also, because this is not a “diet”, my “start again on Monday” mentality has disappeared. Fantastic!
I would recommend the camps to anyone that really wants results…weight loss, health, vitality and feeling good.

Hi…I’m Zara and I’m a campoholic…
When I started the camps I expected another ‘quick fix’ get fit/lose weight offer that is so widely advertised everywhere else, but the difference with John’s camps is that – yes it’s quick, but it stays and it works unlike so many others.
My whole attitude towards eating and living and exercising (and life!!!) has totally changed, and I’m definitely a different, more energetic, happier, and slimmer person.
John was (and is) on hand to answer all the silly little questions I had regarding certain foods or muscle pain or anything really that I couldn’t find the answer to.
Since starting the camps, I’ve lost easily 2 dress sizes and a stack load of inches. But I don’t worry so much about weight anymore – it’s about health, and strength and a positive attitude towards living life. You’d be surprised how negative it is having people complain about food all the time ..!!!

“More Effective Than Running!…Lost 6kg in 4 weeks“

Before I joined SFFitness Camps I played football 4 times a week and ran at least 3 times a week (3-10km) to prepare for the Berlin Marathon in September.
However I had some concerns, I wasn’t losing any weight and my knees were hurting as I lengthened the runs in training. My diet was ok, a lot of wholemeal breads, slimline milk, good bit of fruit and veg, pasta and rice dishes. It seemed no matter how much I ran or watched my diet I could not lose any kilos to get to my ideal weight of 90kg.
As soon as I started the SFFitness Camp in the first week I lost 3kg and was eating like a Lord, never hungry and full of energy. The sessions are tough but you get immediate results twined with the nutrition plan John sets out for you.
The thing is I feel a lot stronger in my legs and arms. The Camps exercise and build muscle in the ‘weak spots’ of your body which I was always too lazy to do. This has helped me run faster in preparation for the marathon.
Throughout the SFFitness Camps John was always on hand to answer questions, to give advice, keep you on the straight and narrow over the weekend and always is professional and friendly.

“Never Enjoyed Exercising so much…“

I am into my second week and I don’t think I have ever enjoyed exercising so much in my life! Which is a total shock as I am not someone who normally enjoys exercising.
I have had personal trainers and tried so many different types of classes and diets but always lost interest. I am half way through this camp and loving it so much I have already decided to sign up for another camp and bring my sister along.
I feel totally motivated and already can see the differences in my fitness and body shape and, like I said it’s only my second week!

“2 Weeks Later…“
I’ll be completely honest, I was more than a bit skeptical about it all to begin with. I had a trainer before when I’d put on a small bit of weight, I just felt I needed an extra push – it was an absolute disaster. Everything I did was wrong according to her, when I went to the gym, what I did, and whatever way I did it, what I was eating…I could do no right at all and I was very frustrated. To make a long story short, I, never the best at sports, but who had loved going to the gym, really began to hate it and managed to pay her a fortune, while putting on a stone and half rather than losing it.
I eventually got rid of her, and was trying to get back into the rhythm of things myself but nothing was really working – Two good firends are getting married in August, one in Malta which means the beach, so some action was defintely needed – that said I was still very skeptical after my previous experience, and also wondering if I’d be able to last carbless and sugarless…what a thought! The trial night in May, left me feeling like i’d been run over, but I really enjoyed it. I decided I would defintely do it in June. It would be ‘project me’ for the summer while I was off and could put my full attention towards it – Two weeks later I’ve lost 6 lbs and 3 inches from both my waist and abs, 2 inches from my hips and1.25 from my thigh – fab if I do say so myself!!!!! I put on a top the other morning which I hadn’t been able to wear for the last two years.
It was difficult enough the first few days, just getting into the idea of the nutrition plan as its very different from what I have tried before. I’m not a good drinker either (well, unless its vodka!) so drinking more water was tough. Defintely hard passing Butlers Chocolate, when I was in town and no hot chocolate (pure habit though I must say cos I haven’t missed it really at all!!). I think the turning point was that I had measured myself on Friday of the first week and was going to leave it for a week to measure again. On Monday, John had asked if I had measurements when I sent him my journal. Curiosity got the better of me and I nearly fell over with shock. I could see changes of up to an inch in parts, in just those few days. I suddenly realized it really does work. I made a few more small changes which John had recommended and then lost even more that week.
I’ve had a few slips, and have to have the odd bit of dark chocolate, but other than that i’m not really missing the old food habits and have gotten into the swing of actually not being hungry and still loosing weight. I’ve been able to eat out with friends, and when one was having everyone over for a takeaway, I just brought something I could have myself, so I wouldn’t go off track. It was particularly great, when one of them, who never gives compliments, said she could see such a difference. I think the most important thing I’ve learned is just to take it a day or a meal at a time and if you make a mistake just let it go and start again from then! I think John really helps too, lots of encouragement and also if you do something that isn’t quite right, he points it out in a helpful way, rather than making you feel bad about it which is great.

“Energy Soared, Strength Gained, Weight Lost..“
Despite having a fairly reasonable diet and spending hours at the gym I was constantly tired and making little improvement on my fitness. My goal for the Superfastfitness programme was to increase my energy levels.
